BIORESONANCE - THE CYMATICS OF CAT PURRS
Do you have a little furry friend whose purr you would like to immortalize with a beautiful hydrogylph? Now you can "see" how their purr sounds! This is really the cat's meow (or, purr) - the world's first offering of Cat Purr Cymatics!
I choose a 2.125" pan for cat purr cymatics due to its size being twice the average size of a cat's larynx which resonates well with the purr frequencies that are between 20Hz and 150Hz with a common fundamental around 25Hz. And now, with my Halo Light System that I invented with my team at Resonant Devices, I can offer ANY custom color arrangement for your cat's purr! Just pick 3-4 colors from the triangular region shown below! I can fully customize your print on fine art paper, metal, coffee mugs, T-shirts, and even stickers; and for extra memories I can even draw your cat if you wish to purchase a combo package. I'd like to give a special thanks to Bailey, Jake, Simba, Toto and Fred for their strong purrs that provided excellent cymatic imagery!
Follow the four easy steps below to get started, or scroll down further to see a video of cat purr cymatics in action.

Step 1 - Record The Purr
Record your cat's purr using an audio recording app on your phone, or something similar. I recommend waiting for your cat to be purring in a comfortable location, and gently bring your recording device near your cat's chest. Try to record at least 30 seconds of audio without moving the recording device too much. When you have a good selection of audio, send it to [email protected].

Step 2 - Choose Your Colors
Choose 3-4 colors from within the triangle shown here on the color wheel, including white outside the circle and black along the lines. If you would like to choose more than one color scheme, send me your ideas and I will give you a selection of images with those color schemes from which to choose. I can also use my sound-to-color software to generate the colors directly from the audio of your cat's purr! |
